The Warriors are washed you said? Well they heard you and beat the top team in the league, despite the leading MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropping 52 points.
It took Steph Curry a while to get going, since he only scored 12 points in the first half. Meanwhile, SGA dropped 43 point in just three quarters and it looked all but over.
But, the Warriors kept it close all game and powered all the way into the fourth, largely thanks to Steph and Andrew Wiggins.
One of the highlights of the game was when 6′ 2″ Warriors guard Gary Payton II threw down a HUGE poster dunk on 7′ 0″ Isaiah Hartenstein.

Fans had a lot to say about the game on X.
Despite 52 from MVP SGA, Steph finally heated up, Wiggins stayed hot and Dubs roared back to beat the NBA’s best team. GSt weirdly just has OKC’s number.

Hard to take OKC seriously as a playoff contender when they refuse to upgrade the offensive talent around Shai. They are obviously a contender on paper but just too many nights of brick-laying from three and not helping SGA where you figure that can’t happen in the playoffs.

As he was walking down back into the locker room after the game, Steph Curry said, “We came into the year talking about we wanted to be a scrappy, gritty team. We’ve shown that these last few games. Gotta keep stacking wins as best as possible…a good test tonight.”
Steph is now 2-0 against the Thunder this season and his stats against them are impressive.
