As the NBA playoffs begin and the WNBA season arrives, The Athletic is bringing official highlights from the leagues directly to the publication’s editorial ecosystem. Subscribers will be able to engage with three new video formats: “The Athletic Spotlight,” a showcase video series from its reporters; video essays that narrate key storylines; and “The Bounce Weekly-ish” from the publication’s daily NBA newsletter helmed by Zach Harper.
