The Liberty swept the Atlanta Dream in two straight playoffs games (and a third before that at the end of the regular season), all in front of the home crowd at Barclays Center. As the No. 1 overall seed, New York will play host for the semifinal round as well.
Ionescu rained 36 points down on Atlanta during her second playoffs showing on Wednesday, with another 20 from Jonquel Jones. Breanna Stewart contributed 20 of her own in the first outing, where Leonie Fiebich led with 21. Stewart is a Cicero-North Syracuse High School alumni.
