With the start of Season 7, New World: Aeternum is launching an exciting new quest line for all adventurers entitled “Season of the Conquerors”. Amazon Games has announced numerous innovations and improvements that should delight PvP fans and PvE lovers alike.
Season 7 of New World: Aeternum introduces new seasonal worlds. These bring unique rules and content into play each season. The first seasonal world focuses on PvP:
Players are automatically flagged for PvP at level 15.
Powerful equipment with special effects can be found, but is lost upon death.
After the season has ended, characters can be transferred to a permanent world.
A preview weekend for the new Outpost Assault map Coral Rift allows players to explore the new battleground in advance. A central moat and buildable bridges provide additional strategic depth in New World: Aeternum.
PvE updates and powerful artifacts
The M3 Expeditions, the centerpiece of New World: Aeternum’s endgame PvE content, have been given a major overhaul. New additions include:
Shared Mutations: One piece of equipment for all M3 mutations.
Activity Finder: Quick matchmaking for expedition groups.
Improved rewards: More attractive loot opportunities for players.
Doom Gauntlets: Fractured– Increases healing and damage.
Life Staff: Heceta– Reduces damage absorption after using a skill.
Rapier: Dorgort’s Blade – Adds stacking burning effects.
Seasonal Events and Rewards
The upcoming season in New World: Aeternum offers three major events to provide variety:
Sulfur Siege: Defend sandworm eggs from elementals. (January 28 to February 11)
Crassus’ Legacy: Battle the Roman general and his cyclops. (February 19 – March 18)
The Rabbit’s Revenge: Hunt corrupted rabbits for rare loot. (March 19 to April 1)
The Season Pass offers free and premium rewards, including cosmetic skins, Transmog Marks, and exclusive items.
