The New York Giants have a pressing need at cornerback and are looking to address it by bringing back veteran Adoree’ Jackson. According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, Jackson is at the team’s facility in East Rutherford for a physical and contract negotiations.

Although the Giants let Jackson go in free agency, he remained unsigned as he sought to join a Super Bowl-contending team for the 2024 season. Jackson expressed his belief that the Giants have the potential to win a Super Bowl based on their playoff run in 2022.
During an interview with the New York Post in February, Jackson acknowledged the business side of football and understood the initial decision by general manager Joe Schoen not to re-sign him.
Despite the uncertainty, Jackson remains hopeful about returning to the team and emphasized the value he brings both on and off the field.
Having previously played under defensive coordinator Shane Bowen during his time with the Tennessee Titans, Jackson is familiar with the Giants’ coaching staff. Bowen served as an outside linebacker coach when Jackson was with the Titans before taking on the role of defensive coordinator in the same year Jackson signed with the Giants.
With 83 career games under his belt, Jackson has accumulated impressive stats including 376 tackles, five forced fumbles, 56 passes defensed, four interceptions, and one defensive touchdown.
