Seattle Storm guard Nika Muhl praised former UConn teammate KK Arnold’s impressive performance off the bench in their 77-45 victory over Marquette on Thursday. Muhl took to her Instagram story to highlight Arnold’s solid play as she contributed 13 points and seven assists in the game.
Wisconsin native Arnold had a stellar homecoming as she helped the Huskies secure a comfortable win against the Golden Eagles. Playing 23 minutes, she shot 4-of-6 from the field and made a significant impact off the bench.
Muhl recognized Arnold’s contribution by sharing a highlight video of her on Instagram with a caption that simply read: “Luh PG”.

Muhl, a second-round draft pick for the Storm in 2024, saw limited playing time in her rookie season with the team, averaging four minutes per game across 16 appearances.
Nika Muhl’s Recovery from Knee Injury
After suffering a season-ending knee injury while playing in the Turkish league during the WNBA offseason, Muhl is currently undergoing rehabilitation and remains determined to come back stronger.
The injury occurred on Oct. 3 during a game for her club Besiktas, necessitating successful surgery on Nov. 1. Muhl is now focused on her recovery.
Reflecting on her situation, Muhl expressed her determination to overcome the setback:
“Anyone that knows me knows I work my a** off all the time. This time isn’t gonna be any different… This is just another opportunity for me to compete, this time against myself. Not to be cocky, but that’s an easy W.”
While there is no set timeline for Muhl’s return to the court, she is expected to miss the entire 2025 WNBA season due to the injury.
