Nkosi Ndebele has set his sights on regaining the BRAVE Combat Federation Bantamweight title as he prepares for the year 2025.
Nkosi, the first homegrown World Champion in BRAVE Combat Federation, lost his title to Nicholas Hwende in the main event of BRAVE CF 91 in Bahrain. Hwende secured a decision victory after a tough five-round battle, leaving Ndebele eager for redemption.
Prior to his rivalry with Hwende, Nkosi was involved in a trilogy with Jose ‘Shorty’ Torres, competing in three title fights across three continents within the BRAVE Combat Federation.
In their first encounter at BRAVE CF 73 in Colombia, Nkosi suffered a decision defeat. However, he bounced back to claim the title at BRAVE CF 80 in Bahrain and successfully defended it at BRAVE CF 82 in Mauritius.
Facing setbacks is not new to Nkosi, and he is determined to overcome the challenge posed by Nicholas Hwende in 2025. Training at SOMA Fight Club in Bali, he has spent his entire professional MMA career in BRAVE Combat Federation, thanks to the IMMAF–BRAVE CF Amateur pathway.
Having competed 11 times in the organization, Nkosi has secured eight wins, with five ending in stoppages. Although the loss to Hwende halted a two-fight winning streak, Nkosi is motivated to reclaim the title and make a strong comeback in 2025.
