Is there anyone happier than Coach Wyckoff right now? Because Ta’Niya Latson told ESPN’s Andrea Adelson that she will return to Florida State for her senior season.
Despite all the improvements this year, Latson’s biggest goal remains on the horizon. “Winning a national championship. That’s what I have to have left to accomplish,” she said.
That could happen this season or next, as Latson has ruled out leaving school early to enter the WNBA draft.
“I feel like I still have room to grow, and I’m in no rush, no rush at all,” Latson said. “I want to get my degree and finish out the greatness that I’ve accomplished here at Florida State.”
She’s focused on more current things like North Carolina in the ACC tournament today:

In a post-combine update, Daniel Jeremiah views Azareye’h Thomas and Joshua Farmer as two fringe 1st-round, early second-round prospects.
Thomas is a tall, long and fluid cornerback. In press coverage, he has the size and physicality to disrupt at the line of scrimmage, but he does need to clean up some footwork. His feet will occasionally widen at the snap, and he’s forced to recover if he doesn’t land his hands. From off coverage, he’s effective playing from a side-turn, where he can explode and drive on in-breaking routes. He isn’t a violent tackler, but he’s more than willing and he can effectively get runners on the ground. He displays effort to chase plays from the back side. Sources from Florida State rave about his intelligence and character. Overall, Thomas has some areas to clean up, but he has the foundational tools of a dependable starter.
