North Beach Games has established a new development studio, North Beach Games Prague, in the Czech Republic to assist in the creation of a sequel to their survival crafting game, Stranded Deep.
The team at North Beach Games Prague working on Stranded Deep 2 will be led by Chief Technology Officer and game designer, Sam Edwards (of Beam Team Games, the creators of Stranded Deep), and General Manager, Tomáš Pšenička (from Keen Software House, creators of Space Engineers).
“We’re thrilled to begin development on Stranded Deep 2 with our new team at North Beach Games Prague,” said Sam Edwards, Creative Director and Chief Technology Officer of North Beach Games. “Tomas and his talented team will be invaluable partners as we take the franchise forward and explore new opportunities.”
North Beach Games is currently collaborating with developer Free Range Games to launch The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X/S on August 27.

Stranded Deep 2 is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, with no confirmed release date yet.
