Notre Dame’s Sonia Citron is one of 16 players nationwide that has been invited to attend the WNBA Draft Monday night at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City.
The Dallas Wings hold the No. 1 pick are expected to selected UConn’s Paige Bueckers.

ESPN’s most recent mock draft put out on Friday has Citron going as the No. 4 pick to the Washington Mystics.

Citron averaged 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a senior, helping Notre Dame win a share of the ACC regular-season title and reach the Sweet 16. She was a first-team All-ACC pick and was on the league’s all-defensive team.
Notre Dame forwards Maddy Westbeld and Liatu King are also possible draftees.

ESPN has 6-foot-6 Dominique Malonga of France as the No. 2 pick going to the Seattle Storm and Kiki Iriafen of USC as the No. 3 pick, also going to the Mystics.
Noticeably not in this year’s WNBA Draft is former Irish All-American guard Olivia Miles. Miles, instead, opted to forgo the draft and enter the transfer portal. She has now commited to TCU, the team that knocked Notre Dame out of the Sweet 16 in March. Miles was projected as the No. 2 pick in the draft.
The WNBA Draft starts at 7:30 p.m. Monday and will be televised on ESPN. There are three rounds and 38 total picks.
