Does The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered have cheats and console commands? Like in the original 2006 release, this refresh of Bethesda’s legendary open-world RPG has built-in cheats through the use of console commands on PC.
Also, like in other Bethesda games, there’s a price to pay for cheating despite Oblivion Remastered being a strictly single-player RPG: Using any of these commands will block your save out of earning achievements on Steam and the PC Xbox app. There’s a quick and easy workaround, however.
How to use console commands without losing achievements in Oblivion Remastered
You can use cheats and other console commands without worrying about losing the ability to unlock achievements thanks to achievement-unblocking mods such as Universal Achievement Unblocker by emoose.
The install process is quite simple and doesn’t require deep tinkering or using other mods. Just download the .dll file and drop it inside the folder indicated in the mod’s instructions. It’s safe to use and very easy to remove if something goes wrong. I’ve been able to test it myself and, in the words of Todd Howard himself, it just works.
How to enter console commands in Oblivion Remastered
Cheats and console commands in Oblivion Remastered work in the same way as they did in the original game. In order to get started, you just have to press the ~ (tilde icon/wave dash) on your keyboard at any time while outside the pause menu.
It must be noted some keyboard layouts have the actual input shuffled around, so you might need to start pressing different sign keys in order to find the one that opens the console for you. In my Spanish QWERTY keyboard, the key that did the trick was <> and it took me two solid minutes to find it after the suggested inputs by everyone failed to do anything.
Oblivion Remastered cheats and console commands

Most of the console commands that worked in the original release of Oblivion still work in the remaster because the game’s insides remain pretty much the same bar some minor changes modders and game tinkerers of all sorts are coming across and reporting on.
Below you’ll find the most useful Oblivion Remastered cheats and console commands you can use in the PC version of the game. The first three are exclusive to this version of the game and don’t do anything in the original 2006 release. As always, we recommend making backup saves before tinkering with the game via commands and cheats.
