TURKI Alalshikh announced the undercard for Usyk vs Fury 2 tonight, which was well received by boxing fans. On May 18, Oleksandr Usyk became the undisputed heavyweight champion by defeating Tyson Fury with a split decision.
Although the IBF title has since gone to Daniel Dubois, Usyk remains the top contender in the division.
The supporting lineup for the Kingdom Arena on December 21 in Riyadh has been revealed. Serhii Bohachuk and Israil Madrimov, both recent losers, have complementary styles for an intriguing matchup. Bohachuk previously fought Vergil Ortiz Jr and lost his WBC Interim crown, while Madrimov challenged Terence Crawford at 154 pounds.
In another British-heavy card, Isaac Lowe faces Lee McGregor. Lowe impressed in his previous fight on the Fury-Usyk undercard, while McGregor is looking to bounce back from a recent loss to Erik Robles.
Peter McGrail, coming off a win against Brad Foster, will take on Dennis McCann in a European title bout. Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma will test himself against Demsey McKean, aiming to establish himself as a future star in the division.
British fighter Dave Allen will also feature in the undercard against Johnny Fisher, a heavyweight with a growing fan base.
Before the Fury vs Usyk Reignited battle, the undercard promises an exciting night of boxing with top names in the ring. Save the date for December 21!
