Two of the four teams in the CFP Playoff semifinals will face off this evening. The winner will advance to the CFP National Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Penn State Nittany Lions advanced to this game by defeating the Boise State Broncos last week, 31 to 14, in their quarterfinal game. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish likewise won their quarterfinal game last week over the Georgia Bulldogs, 23 to 10, to advance to tonight’s semifinal game.
