CONWAY, Ark. – North Florida women’s soccer (5-3-7, 2-1-4 ASUN) started its road trip by earning a league point at conference leading Central Arkansas (6-5-2, 5-0-2), using an 80th minute goal from Jersi Dadah to work a 1-1 draw Thursday, Oct. 10.
The Bears opened the score in the 54th minute after Anna Kerr was found in the box by Caroline Billings to give UCA the lead. The Ospreys would equalize in the 80th minute when a ball into the box from Ella Dudley found Paige McSwigan, whose shot was parried by keeper Kajsa Pruner into the path of Dadah. Dadah would gather the loose ball and find the back of the next.
Dadah recorded her first goal of the campaign, while McSwigan tallied her first assist, taking her point total to 13, a team-high.

Inside the Match
First Half: Bella Pontieri had her first chance just over a minute into the contest, hitting a shot wide on a cross from Paige McSwigan … five minutes later Pontieri ripped a shot from distance forcing keeper Kajsa Pruner to tip the ball onto the crossbar denying the Ospreys … in the 24th minute McSwigan hit a cross from outside the box that found its way to Pruner, who made a diving stop before the ball eventually found Kayla Bond whose shot sailed over the bar … in the 40th minute Allie Fekany had a chance to give the Ospreys the lead, receiving the ball from the result of a free-kick from Chloe Lynch, but her shot missed the target … all told the Ospreys entered halftime outshooting the Bears 10-0.
Second Half: Sofia Miliancano came up with a crucial stop right out of the break after Anna Kerr found herself through on goal … Central Arkansas took the lead in the 54th minute after Caroline Billings played a ball into Kerr who scored from the cross … Brooke Susi had a one-on-one opportunity of her own in the 59th minute to level things up, but was denied by Pruner … in the 80th minute, Ella Dudley played a ball into McSwigan who forced a save from Pruner that fell into the path of Jersi Dadah, who slotted it home to make it 1-1 … Miliancano came up with another big save in the final minutes of the match, denying Kerr yet again to keep things level … the Ospreys outshot the Bears 15-10 in a back-and-forth match that saw both sides come away with a point.
