Otso just launched two special-edition colors for the Waheela C framesets, Raw Carbon and Rainbow Sparkle. Plus, there is also a new production Gloss Seafoam & Maroon colorway. The Waheela C is the brand’s gravel race bike with monster 29 x 2.1″ tire clearance. It features adjustable geometry and is suspension-corrected. Otso says that the Waheela C has earned some podium spots at Unbound XL, The Mid South, and Gravel Worlds.
Before we touch on what’s new for the Waheela C this year, let’s dive into some of the highlights of the bike.
What’s New for the Otso Waheela C
Otso’s Waheela C is a gravel race bike that is known for its surprisingly compliant carbon frame, huge tire clearance, and adjustable geo. Otso says that the bike is versatile enough for the intended gravel racing, or with a few tweaks, for bikepacking races. And, for 2025, there is a new Maroon and Seafoam colorway. This new colorway puts the number of color options for this bike at a whopping eight choices.

As mentioned earlier, there are some design highlights that set the Waheela C apart from others in the gravel race space. The first is its huge tire clearance. The Waheela C frameset can comfortably fit a 700c x 54mm tire (29″ x 2.1″ equivalent). With tire clearance like that, picking the right tire for the course is much easier. Go with skinnier tires for the mud clearance, or max it out for the chunky stuff.

Adjustable Geometry
Adjustable geometry is another special trait of the Waheela C. With the patented Tuning Chip located on the rear dropout of most Otso bikes, the rider is able to change their wheelbase by up to 20mm. This will also raise the bottom bracket by 4mm and adjust the head tube angle by +/- .05mm. With the Tuning Chip back, you get a longer wheelbase for all-day comfort and stability when the going gets rough. Flip the Chip to the front for quicker, more agile handling.

Lastly, another cool feature of the Waheela C is the ride quality of the EPS molded carbon frame. The Waheela C centers the rider over both wheels. This makes the ride stable while rolling at high speeds over loose and rocky terrain. The bowed seatstays add to the compliant nature of the carbon frame. They allow the rear triangle to soak up the chatter, making it a surprisingly supple-feeling carbon race bike.
Now, let’s take a look at the two bitchen new limited colors.

Osto added a special clear coat to the raw carbon frame that highlights the details of the carbon layup. You’ll see this on both the frame and fork. There are only 4 decals on the bike, each has a silver metallic finish that pops on the raw black color. To top it all off, the build kit includes top brands like Shimano, ENVE, and Wolf Tooth.

I love the way this limited color looks! The Rainbow Sparkle Waheela C is a head turner. The frame uses a black paint with a clear coat that is loaded with sparkly color.
