Several veterans, including Ovince Saint Preux, have been removed from the UFC roster.
Other fighters removed from the roster are Brian Kelleher, Ricky Glenn, Victor Altamirano, Da Woon Jung, Kaynan Kruschewsky, Brianna Fortino, Victoria Leonardo, Karl Williams, Danyelle Wolf, and Jarno Errens.
These fighters were either released or their contracts expired, leading the UFC not to renew them at this time. This information was first reported by the UFC Roster Tracker on Twitter.
Saint Preux, who had been with the UFC for over 11 years since making a name for himself in Strikeforce, faced many top fighters during his career with the organization and secured notable victories, including a head kick knockout of Corey Anderson and wins over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
In 2016, Saint Preux faced Jon Jones in an interim light heavyweight title fight, ultimately losing by unanimous decision after five rounds.
His most recent fight resulted in a submission loss to Ryan Spann, leading to his departure from the UFC.
Kelleher, who competed in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions, spent seven years in the UFC facing top fighters but concluded his tenure with the organization after four consecutive losses, including matchups against Umar Nurmagomedov and Cody Garbrandt.
These fighters are now free to sign with any other organization.
