A potential reunion between former UConn teammates could be coming to Dallas. The Wings hold the No. 1 pick in the 2026 WNBA draft, and top prospect Azzi Fudd is the favorite. If it happens, reunite Fudd with her girlfriend Paige Bueckers on the court.
Odds on favour suggest that Dallas use their No.1 overall draft pick to bag Azzi Fudd. The 23-year-old perfectly fits the mould for the Wings’ need for perimeter scoring, as per Sports Illustrated.
Fudd has been nothing short of tremendous throughout her whole stint with the Huskies, especially her final season. The guard averaged 18 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3 assists, all while shooting almost 50% from the field and three-point range.
With Fudd in the driving seat, the Huskies are 29-0 this season and the favourites to win the National Championship for the second time in a row as well.
