The NFL league year kicked off yesterday at 4 PM EST, although the feeding frenzy over free agents began on Monday for the two days the media calls the “legal tampering period.” Like last year, our Miami Dolphins sat back and waited for the big-name, big-dollar players to be scooped up before jumping in and signing some of the lesser/cheaper talent left. I expect that, like last season, some of these signings will work out and pleasantly surprise us, while others will likely disappoint and not be worth even the small dollar contracts they were given. Below is the list of guys signed that are NEW to the roster (as of the writing of this post).
Larry Borom, guard/tackle
K.J. Britt, linebacker
James Daniels, guard
Ashtyn Davis, safety
Alexander Mattison, running back
Ifeatu Melifonwu, safety
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, wide receiver
