Tempe, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) is pleased to announce the continuation of a strategic partnership between the Association and live streaming mogul PlaySight. With this partnership, PlaySight will become an “Official Live Streaming and AI Video Partner of the ITA”.
Serving college tennis alongside the ITA since 2015, PlaySight has continued to present innovative live streaming solutions to college tennis programs across the country providing live streaming capabilities to programs at nearly every level of college tennis.
“The partnership between PlaySight and the ITA has played a vital role in elevating college tennis over the past several years,” stated ITA CEO, Dave Mullins. “PlaySight’s technology has enabled fans around the world to experience the high-level, dynamic competition that defines our sport. Their recent advancements—and unwavering commitment to innovation—promise to make the college tennis viewing experience even more engaging and accessible for fans everywhere. In addition, PlaySight’s powerful analytics tools will help enhance coaching effectiveness and contribute to a more enriching experience for our student-athletes.”
Currently trusted by over 100 collegiate tennis programs, PlaySight has cemented itself as one of the premier live streaming solutions for college tennis, bringing players, coaches, family, and friends high-quality video streams for both match play and practices.
Over the past few years, PlaySight has elevated many of its services to offer much more than just a live streaming solution. Integrating seamlessly with many of the most popular live scoring apps, PlaySight offers coaches detailed match analytics and has extensive AI Video capabilities allowing key points to be detected automatically when creating clips.
Additionally, with PlaySight launching their GoMobile systems in recent years, the ITA is set to utilize six PlaySight GoMobile cameras at various ITA tournaments in the coming year. These portable live streaming solutions allow for live streaming at nearly any location with very little setup needed to bring fans the matches that they want to see.
“Our collaboration with the ITA over the past decade has been a source of immense pride, and we are thrilled to continue this journey,” stated Chen Shachar, Co-Founder and CEO of PlaySight. “Through our AI SmartCourt technology, we have been dedicated to elevating collegiate tennis by increasing its visibility and fostering deeper engagement between players, fans, and their families.”
Shachar continues, “Looking ahead, our vision is not only to work hand-in-hand with the ITA to redefine the tennis broadcast experience and empower athletes with advanced coaching tools to unlock their full potential, but also to bring this transformative technology to every collegiate program across the country.”
