We wrap up our preseason FAB 50 National Team Rankings for 2024-25, brought to you by Ballislife.com, by taking a detailed look at the top 15 teams in the nation. Our rankings started with teams No. 31-50, then moved on to teams No. 16-30, and now we delve into the top 15 teams. Columbus of Florida holds the top spot in the preseason rankings and becomes the first parochial program to claim that position since 2008-09.
Each of the 50 teams is analyzed to justify their placement in the rankings. The Columbus Explorers, topping the list for the first time, continue the trend of Florida teams starting as the nation’s No. 1 team for the eighth consecutive season in the longest-running weekly national high school basketball rankings.

After the COVID-19 era, which lingered into the 2022-23 season, and the subsequent “NIL Era” that took hold in 2023-24 following Nama, Image, and Likeness (NIL) reforms in the NCAA in July 2021, the high school basketball landscape has evolved significantly.
