In 2025, the friendly rivalry between Triumph and MG enthusiasts will be put to the test. Racers from Coventry and Abingdon will compete at a track that is perfect for these British racing legends.
During the three-day event, all cars will practice and race in their assigned PVGP Race Groups based on engine size. A special Triumph and MG-only race will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with Marty Sukey and Eric Russell working on a point system to determine the winning team. Sunday’s race will award individuals based on their times.
Organizers expect over 50 participants with some impressive cars entering the race. All racers are encouraged to also attend the Schenley Park races the following weekend on July 19/20, where both Triumph and MG groups have been racing since 1983.
Triumphs and MGs can participate in both races at no extra cost, but both the car and driver must be registered for the Historics Race Weekend. An optional Test & Tune session is available on Thursday, July 10, for racers who need to familiarize themselves with the track or prepare their cars for racing.
