If sisterhood is the theme, power is the pulse of Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year.
This year’s honorees — Ms. Rachel, Rachel Zegler, Pat McGrath, and the Women of the WNBA — join global icons Demi Moore and Tyla to form a collective of changemakers rewriting the rules of their industries while championing authenticity and unity.
For over three decades, Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards have recognized the bold, the brilliant, and the boundary-breaking. But 2025 feels especially timely. As women continue to lead cultural conversations around representation, fair pay, and creative freedom, this class proves that sisterhood isn’t just a theme, it’s a force.
Let’s talk about Ms. Rachel, the preschool powerhouse who reimagined children’s media with empathy at its core, is being honored not just for her viral success, but for using her platform to advocate for parents, educators, and mental health awareness.

Then there’s Rachel Zegler: the actress, singer, and outspoken Gen-Z voice that has built a career rooted in fearless authenticity. From West Side Story to Snow White to Evita, she’s using her spotlight to demand better representation and push back against industry stereotypes, proving that talent and conviction can (and should) coexist.

Also honored is Pat McGrath, the legendary makeup artist turned business mogul who continues to shape beauty standards across the globe. Dubbed the “Mother of Makeup,” McGrath’s impact goes beyond pigments and palettes; she’s redefined what it means to lead as a visionary woman of color in fashion and beauty.
And finally, the Women of the WNBA — Napheesa Collier, Lexie Hull, Jonquel Jones, Nyara Sabally, and Satou Sabally — who’ve taken the spotlight off the “face of the league” debate and redirected it toward something much more powerful: collective progress. Together, they represent the beating heart of women’s sports: united, unapologetic, and unstoppable.

This year’s Women of the Year celebration, taking place November 4 at The Plaza in New York City, will bring these stories to life — each one told by a woman who embodies the essence of sisterhood herself. Glamour’s Samantha Barry profiles Ms. Rachel; Helen Mirren celebrates Zegler; Tracee Ellis Ross honors McGrath; and the women of the WNBA open up in a deeply candid conversation about unity, representation, and the future of the game.
Of course, no Glamour moment is complete without a little sparkle; expect a star-studded red carpet livestream hosted by sisters Brooks and Grace Ann Nader on Glamour.com, TikTok, and YouTube at 6PM ET.
Whether it’s in a locker room, a makeup chair, a Broadway stage, or a preschool classroom, the message is clear: Sisterhood isn’t something you find, it’s something you build. Because when women show up for each other, we don’t just change the story, we rewrite the world.
