For the first time ever, all four Red Bull drivers—Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hadjar—participated in a Showrun 🚀🏎️ 🇯🇵 together, celebrating the Team’s enduring partnership with Honda and the final season of one of the most successful PU collaborations in F1 history. The event was a historic moment for the Team, marking Yuki Tsunoda’s first major public appearance as an Oracle Red Bull Racing driver.
🏎️ Max Verstappen, a four-time World Champion, drove alongside hometown hero Yuki Tsunoda and VCARB drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar. The streets of Tokyo roared as they piloted iconic F1 cars: the RB16B, powered by Honda—the car that saw Max clinch his first Drivers Championship—and two RB7s from the Team’s Heritage collection, which won double World Championships.
🔥 In a truly special moment, Yuki took the final run in the Oracle Red Bull Racing RB7 in front of his home crowd before the cars lined up for an epic final photo op with all Red Bull drivers. Adding to the history, the legendary Honda RA272—the first Japanese car to win an F1 race—was also showcased in the garage.
💪 The Showrun celebrated Honda’s legacy with the Team, highlighting the monumental achievements of their partnership. Max Verstappen has secured all four of his World Championships with a Honda Power Unit, while the Team has lifted two Constructors’ Championships. Honda’s reliability was a key factor in Red Bull’s most dominant season in #Formula1 history in 2023. This year also commemorates the 60th anniversary of Honda’s first F1 victory.
🎤 Max Verstappen: “It’s been a great day at the Showrun in Japan! The weather cleared up, and amazingly, all four Red Bull drivers could be here together. Today was about thanking Honda for everything and celebrating our final year together. Driving the RB16B again, the car in which I won my first Championship, is special—it brings back so many memories. The Japanese fans are incredible, and I always love racing here!”
🎤 Yuki Tsunoda: “I loved today and hope the fans did too! Their support is amazing, and driving in my home country was incredible. Seeing Max and me on the big screen in two Red Bulls was surreal—it’s a memory I’ll cherish forever. As a kid, I dreamed of driving a Formula One car through Tokyo, and now it’s real. A huge thank you to Red Bull and Honda for making this happen!”
