The RB17 Hypercar, designed by Adrian Newey, was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The unveiling was done by Red Bull Team Principal and CEO, Christian Horner, Group Chief Technical Officer, Adrian Newey, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies Technical Director, Rob Gray.
Built on 20 years of Formula One innovation resulting in six constructors’ titles, the RB17 features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis with a mid-mounted naturally aspirated V10 engine capable of reaching 15,000 rpm.
Packed with over 1,200 HP and weighing under 900 kg, the RB17 offers F1-equivalent lap times and speeds exceeding 350 kph, all while being user-friendly.
Red Bull Advanced Technologies oversaw the design and production of the RB17, limited to only 50 units.
Owners of the RB17 will be treated to exclusive track events and personalized driver development, with each car being bespoke to the customer’s preferences.
Christian Horner expressed excitement for the project, stating that the RB17 combines technical innovation, achievement, and emotional appeal, making it a future classic.
Adrian Newey shared his satisfaction with the project, highlighting the power, speed, and beauty of the RB17 as a true representation of Red Bull’s values.
Rob Gray emphasized their engineering capabilities, anticipating the RB17 to be enjoyed by racing and automotive enthusiasts on the track.
