Reports indicate that the Los Angeles Dodgers are bringing up left-handed pitching prospect Justin Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City to make a spot start on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers due to injuries in the starting rotation. This news was first reported by The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya.

At just 23 years old, Wrobleski is making his major-league debut after impressing in just two Triple-A appearances. He was ranked as the Dodgers’ ninth-best prospect at the start of the season.
With a 3.23 ERA in 13 starts (78 innings) between Double-A and Triple-A, Wrobleski has held opposing hitters to a .239 average.
Given recent injuries and short outings by starters, the Dodgers are turning to their depth to avoid overworking the bullpen. The starting pitchers have not completed five innings since Gavin Stone’s complete-game shutout over a week ago.
Wrobleski was drafted in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft. His Sunday start will provide much-needed rest for the Dodgers’ starters.
