The wide receiver room of the Seattle Seahawks will look remarkably different in 2025 compared to 2024, with the team having opted to release veteran Tyler Lockett and trading DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The front office addressed part of the void created by the departure of Lockett and Metcalf by signing Cooper Kupp, but given Kupp’s injury history in recent seasons, more depth at the position will almost certainly be required during the 2025 season. To that end, as noted in a report earlier Monday, the Seahawks have met with potential first round pick Tetairoa McMillan, and now according to Mike Garofolo of the NFL Network, Seattle has also met with potential Day 2 pick Kyle Williams.

Williams has seen his stock rise dramatically in recent months, shooting up draft boards after a strong performance in practice at the Senior Bowl, though he registered just a single catch for four yards during the game itself.
During his college career Williams caught 248 passes for 3,609 yards and 29 touchdowns, with 2,041 yards and 20 touchdowns for Washington State over the past two seasons. The speedy wideout ran a 4.40 forty at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, but did not complete agility testing at either the Combine or Pro Day.
