During last year’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Brad Pitt famously drove on-track to shoot scenes for the ‘F1’ movie.
The Hollywood superstar and the film crew returned to Silverstone last weekend to continue filming.
Lewis Hamilton, one of the movie’s executive producers, was impressed by Pitt’s driving skills after training for almost three months in various cars.
The car Pitt drove last year was an F2 car modified to look like an F1 car, based on an idea from Toto Wolff of Mercedes.
The movie ‘F1’ features real-life grand prix scenes and is shot during live races in front of a large audience.
The storyline revolves around Sonny Hayes (played by Pitt) returning to racing for one final glory shot.
The 2023 British Grand Prix paddock featured a garage for the fictional APXGP team.
‘F1’ will include all current F1 drivers and is set to be released in June 2025.
