AGB Founder Sue Parsons-Zipay Dies at 91
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Sue Zipay.
Sue was a former player in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, a dedicated Board Member of the Players Association, and the founder and President of American Girls Baseball (AGB). She worked tirelessly to create opportunities for girls and women to train, participate, and compete in baseball at every level—from youth leagues to college and beyond.
Sue also founded the All-American Women’s Baseball Classic, continuing her vision of empowering female athletes to choose baseball and to celebrate its rich history.
Her passion, leadership, and lifelong commitment to the game have left an indelible mark on generations of players and fans.
