Singer Tinashe dazzled the Dodger Stadium crowd on Tuesday night with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Game 4 of the World Series, an eventual Blue Jays 6-2 win over the Dodgers.
The performance, which received rapturous applause before Tinashe, 32, hit her final note, was also met with praise on social media as fans gushed over her beauty and vocal prowess.
“Tinashe being beautiful and talented. That mic is ON,” one X user posted Tuesday.
“She absolutely crushed this. Insane vocals,” another X user wrote.
One fan dubbed Tinashe’s performance an “absolute grand slam” that sparked “goosebumps,” while another swooned, “Tinashe is probably the most beautiful human on the planet.”
“What a queen!” exclaimed a separate X user. “Astonishing voice 😍 This was a beautiful national anthem performance.”
Beyond wowing the star-studded crowd of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Sydney Sweeney, Tinashe — who was born in Kentucky but moved to California as a child — had herself a night at Dodger Stadium.
Not only did she get up close and personal with the Commissioner’s Trophy, but she took in the thrilling 11-inning clash from a private space as the Blue Jays outlasted the Dodgers to even the series at two games apiece.

Coming off a wild 18-inning affair from the night before, Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani took the mound for six innings, where he allowed six hits to go along with six strikeouts.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts pulled Ohtani in the seventh, a polarizing decision that backfired in relying on the bullpen.
“Although we did lose the game,” he said, per ESPN, “I thought I had a productive experience being able to experience this situation.”
The Dodgers and Blue Jays return to action Wednesday for Game 5 in Los Angeles before the series shifts back to Toronto for Game 6 Friday. If necessary, Game 7 will take place Saturday at the Rogers Centre.
