Rhyne Howard, WNBA star and former Hamilton County Schools student, came back to town to donate brand-new coats to local children.
The 25-year-old guard for the Atlanta Dream visited Hardy and Woodmore Elementary to meet and talk with students after her donation.
“We are so thankful for her generosity and wish her continued success both on and off the court!” the school district said.
Howard attended Bradley Central High School. She played for the Kentucky Wildcats and was drafted first overall by the Dream in the 2022 WNBA draft.
