Surprisingly, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam has received a quality of life update with patch 1.6.2, addressing server and voice communication issues on PC this November after a long period of silence.
After more than three years without updates, the patch coincides with a significant sale on the Rising Storm and Red Orchestra games, with discounts of up to 95% and DLC bundles reduced by up to 80% from publisher Tripwire Interactive.

The Steam sale will be active from November 11 to November 18, while the Epic Games Store sale will run from November 12 to November 19.
A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated by Tripwire Interactive to charity organizations supporting veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
While the patch notes for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam’s 1.6.2 update are not extensive, it presents a good opportunity for new players to join in at a discounted price.
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, like its predecessor, had a loyal following at launch but has seen a decline in player numbers over time. However, the game’s unique charm and realistic gameplay still hold appeal for many.
