Rudy Gobert disclosed that he is currently dealing with an undisclosed left ring finger injury after France’s victory over Canada on Tuesday.
Due to “several reasons,” Gobert only played for three minutes in the game.
Gobert stated, “There were several reasons why I didn’t play, between the matchups but also what can happen in training, with the injuries.”
France coach Vincent Collet confirmed that Gobert underwent an MRI on the finger and was given the green light to continue playing.
Gobert was spotted wearing a splint on the injured finger.
