The NBA All-Star Weekend has finally arrived, bringing three evenings of exciting events, with the highlight being tomorrow’s Stephen Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu 3-Point Challenge. Get ready for all the fun ahead and let us know who you think will come out on top.
Starting with the Panini Rising Stars tonight at 9 p.m. ET, where twenty-eight NBA rookies, sophomores, and G League players will compete in a three-game mini-tournament.
Keep an eye on Victor Wembanyama from the San Antonio Spurs and Chet Holmgren from the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the tension between these talented newcomers has been building all season.
On State Farm All-Star Saturday Night tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET, we have the Kia Skills Challenge and the Starry 3-Point Contest followed by the much-anticipated Stephen vs. Sabrina showdown.
Curry, the all-time NBA three-point leader, will face off against Ionescu, the WNBA’s single-season three-point record holder, in a unique charity battle where Ionescu will shoot from the NBA three-point line. The night will conclude with the AT&T Slam Dunk contest featuring the returning champion, G Leaguer Mac McClung.
And finally, the 73rd All-Star Game (ASG) on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET will return to the East vs. West format, with plenty of scoring and little defense expected. The Eastern Conference team is led by Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, featuring debut All-Stars Jalen Brunson of the NY Knicks, Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors, and 2023 ASG MVP Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.
On the Western Conference side, we have LeBron James of the LA Lakers making his record 20th All-Star appearance, alongside 2023 Finals MVP Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets and first-timer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder. It’s going to be a star-studded weekend!
