DETROIT – Fighters successfully hit the scales at the official weigh-in for “The Return”, a stacked night of professional boxing presented by World Kid Promotions, taking place Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan.
The highly anticipated card will be streamed live worldwide on BXNGTV.com, with doors opening at 3:00 p.m. EST and the first bout starting at 4:00 p.m. EST. Tickets are still available online and at the venue, ranging from $41.20 to $200.85.
Main Event – Junior Middleweights (10 Rounds)
Sadam Ali (27-3, 14 KOs) – Brooklyn, NY – 157.4 lbs.
Cody Wilson (14-5, 9 KOs) – Fairmont, WV – 155.6 lbs.
Former world champion Sadam Ali returns to the ring in the main event, looking to reestablish himself in the junior middleweight division. Standing across from him is the durable Cody Wilson, who comes in slightly lighter and ready for the toughest test of his career.

Michigan fan-favorite Husam Al Mashhadi looks to continue his rise in front of a hometown crowd, but faces a dangerous puncher in Ghana’s Abraham Afful, who has knocked out all of his 13 opponents in victory.
