The CCB p/b Levine Law Group elite women’s cycling team has confirmed its 10-rider roster for 2025, which focuses on preparing riders for qualification at the inaugural U23 women’s category events at the UCI Road World Championships in Kigali, Rwanda taking place next September 21-28.
Among the three new additions to the roster are US riders Makayla MacPherson, Katherine ‘Kat’ Sarkisov, and rising junior Jorja Bond. The returning riders include Cécile Lejeune of France and a full cast of US riders Elizabeth Grier, Sabrina Hayes, Katherine Rusch, Cassidy Hickey, Lizzy Gunsalus, and Ella Brenneman.
Sarkisov recently won the U23 women’s title at the US Cyclocross Nationals after colliding with Hickey at the finish line, resulting in both riders sustaining minor injuries. MacPherson, a 21-year-old veteran in the peloton, has raced at the WorldTour level and competed in criteriums with podium finishes. Bond, an 18-year-old from Colorado, has also achieved success at the US road nationals.
The team’s diverse calendar for 2025 includes road, criterium, and gravel events. Lejeune, the winner of the Oregon Trail Gravel stage race, will shift her focus exclusively to gravel racing in the new year, with participation in the Life Time Grand Prix.
“Our primary goal is to prepare our athletes for the next step in their careers, whether that means earning professional contracts or competing on the world stage,” said team Sports Director Lauren LeClaire. The CCB team has successfully graduated 18 riders to professional ranks in the past seven years.
