Sean Strickland is never too far away from something controversial, and that is the case once again after he beat up yet another YouTuber earlier this week.

The former UFC middleweight champion often rubs people the wrong way with his brash personality, though his unapologetic approach has earned him a large following. While others may be scrutinized for this kind of behavior, Strickland beating the brakes off another influencer is considered perfectly normal by the 34-year-old’s standards.

While it was pre-planned between the two, Sean Strickland didn’t hold back during a sparring session with YouTuber Nick Nayersina.

“I didn’t reach out to this guy,” Strickland said in a post on social media. “I didn’t say, ‘Hey, influencer, come and spar me.'”

Strickland continued.

“What you did is, you waited until you got famous, and then he’s like, you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go get f***ed by a UFC fighter and get more famous.”

Throughout the short clip of their clash in the cage, Sean Strickland can be heard challenging Nick Nayersina to quit as he pummeled him with an arsenal of strikes.

Strickland used knees, elbows, punches, and kicks to punish Nayersina in the brief video of their time spent in the octagon.

The YouTube star earned plaudits from Eric Nicksick for having the guts to step up against somebody of Sean Strickland’s caliber. Following the beatdown, Nick Nayersina posted the footage to more than 400,000 of his fans on Instagram.

“I’m a man of my word,” Nayersina proudly proclaimed on Instagram. “I said I’d show up and I showed up.”

“Thank you, Sean Strickland, for your time. The fitness journey continues. Lol, when should I drop the full YouTube video?”
