CoD is entering a new round: Season 5 brings fresh content for the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and Zombies. There’s also a crossover with WWE, the biggest wrestling organization in the world. But first things first:
Season 5 dates
Start of Season 5: Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 pm time
End of Season 5: Expected on September 27th
Season 5 Reloaded Update: Expected August 30th

New weapons
Four new weapons are coming to CoD across all modes, two of them directly for the season release:
- Static-HV: New SMG based on the Kel Tec P50, in the Battle Pass
- STG: New assault rifle based on the StG44, in the Battle Pass
- Speer: new melee and throwing weapon, appears in the season progression
- Torque 35: new bow (launcher), appears in the Season progression
New equipment
- EMP Grenade (disables enemy electronics and the HUD for a short time)
- Redeploy Drone Beacon (only for Warzone/Resurgence)
New Maps
- Bait (6v6 Core-Map)
- Yard (6v6 Core-Map)
- Celship (6v6 comic variant of Shipment)
- Toonoxide (6v6 comic variant of Rust)
- Ink House (6v6 comic variant of Stash House)
- Atlas Superstore (Update of the Warzone map Urzikstan)

New modes
- Slam Deathmatch (finishing move variant for multiplayer)
- Arcade Playlist (multiplayer variant with various power-ups)
- CoD Warrior (mini-game collection for multiplayer)
- Superstore Resurgence (mini-warzone for 28 players)
- Supreme Resurgence (Rebirth Island with Super-Loot)

Zombies Final Story Mission (Operation Deadbolt ends) New Dark Aether Rift (appears during the season) Three new weapon blueprints In addition, there are of course new rewards in the Ranked, new Aftermarket Parts for modifying existing weapons and of course a new Battle Pass. This comes with the usual hodgepodge of unlockable skins, weapon blueprints, tokens and emblems and costs the usual 1,100 CoD Points or 30 euros in the separate Blackcell version.
