Memphis, TN – The opening day of play is now complete at the 2025 ITA Division III Women’s National Team Indoor Championships. Hosted at the Leftwich Tennis Center by the Sewanee: The University of the South, eight of the top Division III women’s programs all faced off on Friday for a spot in the semifinals.
Featuring many close matches that are likely to be seen again in Claremont, CA this May in the NCAA Championships, day one saw three of the top four seeds advance. Reigning NCAA National Champions, UChicago, and reigning ITA Indoor Champions, CMS, both got off to a great start on Friday cruising through their first round matches. Meanwhile, Pomona-Pitzer survived a close 4-3 match over Johns Hopkins, and Emory took down Wesleyan in the final match of the day.
