“She’s getting 0%”: Napheesa Collier Sounds Off on ‘Injustice’ With $10 Million Worth Caitlin Clark

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier has once again spoken about the financial injustices in the league, using Caitlin Clark’s example. On Monday, Oct. 27, Glamour magazine released a feature with its 2025 Women of the Year from the WNBA, which includes Collier, New York Liberty standouts Jonquel Jones and Nyara Sabally, Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull, and Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally.

With each player given their own time to be interviewed, one of the questions posed to Collier was about the current collective bargaining agreement between WNBA officials and the players, as a movement towards higher pay has long been in discussion. The veteran used the case of Indiana Fever sensation Clark, who has a net worth of $10 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), as an example.

“We are being so grossly almost taken advantage of, and it should be illegal. The amount of money that Caitlin Clark has made the league is insane, and she’s getting 0% of it because we have no rev share. She gets less than $80,000 a year, and she’s bringing in, like, hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s insane,” Collier was quoted as saying (via @glamourmag on Instagram).

Collier infamously called out WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert and the rest of the higher-ups of the league last month, after Collier and the rest of coach Cheryl Reeve’s Lynx were eliminated from playoff contention by coach Nate Tibbetts’ Phoenix Mercury.

Collier had claimed that Engelbert had disrespected Clark as well as the entire league with her prior statements.

Napheesa Collier Responds To Candace Parker’s Comments On The Recent WNBA All-Star Game

During the same feature interview with Glamour magazine, Napheesa Collier was asked about her thoughts on the comments made by WNBA legend and three-time champion Candace Parker earlier in the 2025 campaign.

This is because Parker had called out the players, who played in the All-Star Game, for their lack of effort to maximize the event. However, Collier has a different perspective on it.

“We could not go hard in that game because you’re adding another game to our already packed season where people are dropping flies,” Collier shared.
