A year after confirming his relationship with WTA star Anna Kalinskaya, ATP No. 1 Jannik Sinner has now officially addressed the breakup rumors—revealing at the Rome Masters that he is single.

Tennis power couple no more! Sinner has officially ended the silence surrounding his relationship with Kalinskaya. After months of speculation, the Italian confirmed during his pre-tournament press conference at the 2025 Internazionali BNL d’Italia that he is no longer in a relationship, putting to rest the rumors that had been swirling for quite some time.
“Off the court I was very surprised to see some pictures… nothing, nothing, nothing serious. I’m not in a relationship,” the three-time Grand Slam champion stated, making it clear that his relationship with Kalinskaya is over and dismissing recent rumors linking him to model Lara Lieto.
Sinner and Kalinskaya were first romantically linked in spring 2024, when the two were spotted together in Turin. The sightings triggered widespread rumors that were finally confirmed by Sinner himself at Roland Garros, shortly after his first-round win over Christopher Eubanks. “As you know, I don’t like to talk about my private life. I’m with Anna, yes,” he told Italian reporters in Paris. “But we keep everything very private.”
Despite their desire for discretion, the relationship occasionally stepped into the spotlight. Kalinskaya was seen supporting Sinner at multiple tournaments, and after his triumphant 2024 US Open victory—his second Grand Slam title—she was right there in his box, sharing a kiss with the champion that quickly went viral online.
However, the romance began to show signs of fading earlier this year. Kalinskaya’s absence from Sinner’s box during his victorious run at the 2025 Australian Open raised eyebrows, and whispers of a breakup started to gain traction. Neither party addressed the rumors publicly—until now.
Arriving in Rome for what was also his first tournament following a three-month doping ban, Sinner finally decided to clarify his relationship status. And it’s crystal clear: the Italian is currently single, and not involved with Kalinskaya—or anyone else. (source: Tennis World USA)
