Spectre Divide, the new FPS developed by Mountaintop Studios in collaboration with streamer Shroud, has announced a Closed Beta that gamers can join. The game is shaping up to be one of the most innovative shooter games in years, giving players the ability to control two bodies at once, putting a fresh new spin on the tactical FPS genre.

How to join the Spectre Divide Closed Beta

Mountaintop Studios has confirmed that the Spectre Divide Closed Beta will begin on August 13th, and will run until August 21st on PC. There are two ways to gain access to the Closed Beta, which will be available in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions. Just do one of the following:
Sign up for the Spectre Divide Closed Beta on Steam
If you head to the Spectre Divide Steam page, gamers can hit the “Request Access” button on the “Join the Spectre Divide Playtest” banner. They will then be notified when the developer is allowing more players to give the game a try.
Spectre Divide Twitch Drops

Alternatively, you can also get into the Spectre Divide Closed Beta by earning access via Twitch Drops. Simply watch a streamer with Spectre Divide Twitch Drops enabled, and you’ll be in with a shot of winning a slot in the Closed Beta. You need to link your game and Twitch accounts too, so don’t forget!
Even if you don’t manage to get a Closed Beta slot via Twitch Drops, the game also features three exclusive in-game items only available through the program:
– Bad Intentions Spray
– Troublemaker Banner
– Sinister Smile Charm
These items are still worth earning, even if you’re planning to join the Spectre Divide Closed Beta through Steam instead.
