The fall basketball market is beginning to become saturated across the country. With fall leagues, individual showcases, and potential college visits virtually every single weekend, the “off-season” really doesn’t offer much free time to high school players so they have to be selective on what events to attend.

Enter the Stellar Hoops Elite 60.

Held at Charlotte’s West Mecklenburg High School, director Wayne Davis puts on two separate one day, invite-only events just after the school year jumps off. Focusing largely on underclassmen and players who are flying under the radar, the Elite 60 2025 fall event brought both to the table. Players such as Michigan State swingman Coen Carr (who shut down the 2023 Ballislife All American Game dunk contest), Duke swingman Isaiah Evans, Georgia physical monster Somto Cyril and top-50 2026 Markus Kerr are just a few to have graced the court before they blew up. There was no shortage of players who exhibited the potential to be in that next wave as well, as we recently saw in Charlotte.

Here are the top upperclassmen from the 2025 fall Stellar Hoops Elite 60 National Camp:

Segond Sompa, 6’9, C, Grace Christian Academy (TN), 2027

The best big man that the event had to offer, Sompa is the type of big man that every college coach loves on their roster. The physical junior controls his area on both ends of the Hardwood, runs the floor well, and is finisher through contact at the rim. While Sompa’s offensive skill set is still a work in progress, the little things that he offers have already placed him on D1 radars.

Evan Robinson, 6’6, SF, Bandys HS (NC), 2027

An intriguing wing that I was not familiar with going into the event, Robinson was right there with Sompa as the best 2027 the Elite 60 had to offer. He is another serious shooter with effortless range, can finish above the rim in transition, and impacts the game with his athleticism on both ends of the hardwood. Still a bit under the radar, Robinson is a two sport athlete (baseball) that will have no shortage of suitors in either sport.

Paul McClary, 6’6, SG/SF, The Skill Factory (GA), 2026

The top senior the Elite 60 had to offer was McClary, a physical wing with length out of Atlanta. McClary used his shoulders to finish through contact once he got to the paint, utilized his wingspan on the defensive end, and showed a nice jumper off the bounce. Having played for Combine Academy last season, McClary has no shortage of experience playing against elite competition and should shine at The Skill Factory.

Abram Schrinel, 6’6, SF/PF, Freeman HS (VA), 2027

A new age hybrid forward, Schrinel showed he could get it done both inside and out at the Stellar Hoops Elite 60.  Schrinel was a powerful straight line driver who can finish through contact, posted smaller forwards, and showed the ability to hit open 3-pointers. Running with Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB circuit, his versatility will make him a name to watch for D1 programs over the next two years.

Amen “AC” Pressley, 6’4, SG, West Charlotte HS (NC), 2027

Another D-1 prospect coming out of West Charlotte is Amen Pressley, a smooth 6-foot-4 lefty wing. He already knows what his sweets spots are, can score with limited dribbles (especially going left), and has a feathery touch when finishing in the paint. Playing with Team United in the EYBL, Amen is the type of glue guy that fits in perfectly with an absolutely loaded group of 2027 prospects.

Zyon White, 6’4, SG, JL Chambers HS (NC), 2027

A player that I was not familiar with leading up to the event, Zyon White showed that he belonged with his physical package and ability to shoot the ball from three point range. The super smooth shooting guard finished with creativity at the rack, was nearly automatic with his jump shot, and was one of the best overall scorers that the event had to offer. Known as one of the bigger sleepers in the Charlotte area, White ran on the New Balance circuit with EA Prep All Stars and then Anthony Morrow Elite this past summer.

Mellow June, 6’6, SF, Hoover HS (AL), 2026

One of the more intriguing seniors at the event, June made the journey from Birmingham and showed his promise at the Elite 60. The lefty is perfectly comfortable playing facing the basket, is athletic enough to defend a variety of positions, and seems like a player who is nowhere near done maximizing his talents. Playing on the Puma Pro16 circuit with the Bama Celtics helped him secure a few D2 offers already, with plenty more to come throughout his senior season.
