Stephen Curry recently attended a New York Mets game at Citi Field before heading to another stadium in NYC for a WNBA matchup between the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces. Joining him at the game was his former teammate, Klay Thompson, and his new teammate Dereck Lively II from the Dallas Mavericks.
During the game, Curry and Thompson also met up with boxing champ and mixed martial artist Claressa Shields.
Despite missing MVP frontrunner A’ja Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces couldn’t secure a win against the Liberty, losing 75-71. Breanna Stewart led the Liberty with 21 points, followed by Jonquel Jones with 15 points and Sabrina Ionescu with 14 points and four assists. Kelsey Plum scored 25 points for the Aces, but it wasn’t enough for a victory in New York.
