Tennis fashion aficionados know that when the sport’s most iconic stages come alive, style takes center court, and Roland Garros 2025 has served up sartorial brilliance. The clay courts of Paris are awash in standout ensembles, with major apparel brands unveiling collections that blur the lines between performance and high fashion. Some of this year’s looks are destined to be etched in tennis style history. Join us for a stroll through the fashion highlights of this unforgettable Parisian fortnight, as we continue our beloved tradition of Grand Slam fashion roundups.

Naomi Osaka's outfit at Roland Garros 2025

Nike’s Naomi Osaka delivered the most iconic look of the tournament, an ensemble so meticulously styled, it deserved more than a single match on display. Unfortunately, the fashion moment was cut short following her heart-wrenching first-round loss to Paula Badosa.

Every detail of Osaka’s look was thoughtfully curated. From her hairstyle and hair accessories, to her dress, jacket, GP Challenge 1 shoes, and even nail art. The theme was sakura, i.e. Japanese cherry bloom. Floral details and subtle pink hue were present throughout, with burgundy accents to balance out the girly aesthetic.

Coco Gauff is another WTA star striving to evolve into a tennis fashion icon. At Roland Garros, the American star debuted two custom versions of her New Balance dress, both rendered in the brand’s dusk shower palette.

The design features an abstract, marble-like print that evokes elements of tie-dye, with one version in lighter tones and the other in deeper hues. The silhouette includes a form-fitting bodice flowing into an asymmetrical pleated skirt that moves effortlessly on court. The airy fabric adds to its appeal, while the colorways beautifully complements Gauff’s complexion.

No standout look is complete without a few carefully curated extras. Gauff elevated her ensemble with a cropped, leather-inspired jacket that added a touch of urban edge. Her nails, painted in a gleaming metallic to match, showcased her flair for detail.

And naturally, her footwear made a statement too, with the latest “Grey Day” edition of her signature CG2 tennis shoes.

Aryna Sabalenka at Roland Garros 2025

For some reason, the only time world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has been honored with a custom dress by her sponsor Nike was at the 2023 US Open. Nevertheless, she’s turning heads this fortnight in Paris in the vibrant blue version of Nike’s Summer Slam Dress that’s not exclusive to her.

The design features a classic racerback silhouette with a bold back cutout and sheer mesh inserts on a flouncy skirt. Finishing touches like contrast trim and a striped waistband inject just the right amount of color play. Even though she plays under a neutral flag, the Belarusian hinted her origin with asymmetrical red and green laces on her shoes.

Zheng Qinwen at Roland Garros 2025Zheng Qinwen, last year’s Olympic gold medalist in Paris, opted for a light purple ensemble: a polo-style Nike Summer Slam Tank and Nike Slam Skirt with pleats on one side. Completing the coordinated look, her Nike Vapor 12 shoes came in the same soft hue.

Mirra Andreeva at Roland Garros 2025

Mirra Andreeva also chose separates from the Nike Paris collection, but in a darker, burgundy hue. The young Russian talent thoughtfully tied the outfit together by matching the blue accents of her tank and skirt with her Nike GP Challenge 1 footwear in the same tone.

Victoria Mboko at Roland Garros 2025

Wilson impressed once again with a bold yellow outfit worn by Canada’s Victoria Mboko. The look features a cropped sleeveless polo and a classic pleated skirt, finished with thick and thin contrast stripes along the hemline.

Jil Teichmann at Roland Garros 2025

Head made a statement with a playful coral polka-dot print, seen on Jil Teichmann in the Women’s Player Spirit Tank and Player Performance Skirt. The fun look is also available in lime for those who love a pop of color. Meanwhile, Barbora Krejcikova appears to be back with Head after her stint with Fila since 2022. However, in Paris, she kept things classic in a timeless navy kit.

Iga Swiatek at Roland Garros 2025

On continued its signature use of ombre prints—a design element they’ve embraced since teaming up with Iga Swiatek in 2023. This season, however, they broke away from their usual cool-toned palette, embracing a summery gradient that fades from vibrant purple to bright yellow. The four-time French Open champion sports the On Summer Court Tank with the Mid-Summer Court Skirt, creating a fresh, energetic look. Completing the outfit were her neon yellow On The Roger Pro 2 Clay shoes, adding a final punch of color.

Jessica Pegula at Roland Garros 2025

This year, Adidas embraced a minimalist aesthetic for its Paris collection, focusing on pure black accented with sharp neon yellow details. The brand’s top-ranked representative, Jessica Pegula, kept things sleek in the all-black Adidas Core Climacool Dress, letting her statement footwear shine, the eye-catching Avacourt 2 shoes in lucid lemon and white.

Yonex stayed true to its classic sporty silhouettes, this time elevating them with subtle textural details, including a refined geometric pattern woven into the fabric.

Elena Rybakina at Roland Garros 2025

The collection’s fresh color palette—peppermint and navy—was showcased by Elena Rybakina and 2019 French Open runner-up Marketa Vondrousova, who both wore the Yonex Paris Dress.

Unexpectedly, world No. 361 Lois Boisson emerged as the standout Asics ambassador this fortnight. Making her Grand Slam debut at Roland Garros 2025, Boisson made the home crowd ecstatic by upsetting third seed Jessica Pegula and advancing to the quarterfinals, wearing the Asics Summer Match Tank and Summer Match Short.

Ajla Tomljanovic represented Original Penguin, but contrary to pre-tournament announcements, she didn’t wear the Penguin Summer Floral Jacquard Dress. Instead, she chose to sport separates from the brand’s new collection.

Mizuno delivered one of its most flattering designs yet with the sporty Naval Dress, and it looked particularly striking on Slovakia’s Rebecca Sramkova. The mix of blue tones contrasted beautifully with the red clay, while the vibrant yellow accents added a fresh pop of energy. Side color-blocking created a slimming silhouette, and the pixelated-print waistband offered a playful detail that tied the whole look together.
