Six teams have changed their venues for home game against the Fever this WNBA season.

Less than two months are left for the beginning of another exciting season of the WNBA season. This year, basketball fanatics will see not 12 but a total of 13 teams fighting for the ultimate glory. While it is going to be a bigger season, one thing will remain the same- The Caitlin Clark craze!

Picked as the first overall pick of the 2024 WNBA draft, the Indiana Fever rookie wrecked havoc during her debut season. Not only was Clark adjudged Rookie of the Year, but with her, the Fever drove historic attendance and viewership. Their regular season finale set the league attendance record with 20,711 spectators.

Moreover, the 2024 season became the most-watched WNBA regular season across all platforms. With Clark’s debut shattering all records, it seems that other franchises are also keen on making the most of her presence on the court during her sophomore season. As four teams changed their venues last season (Washington, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas), six teams hope to attract more spectators during their clash against the Fever this season.

The latest development came with the Dallas Wings changing their home game against the Fever. They will now host Caitlin Clark and Co. at the American Airlines Center (AAC), the home of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, instead of the College Park Center in Arlington.

This will be the first time a WNBA game will be played at the venue. The Wings’ past venue had a capacity of only 6,000, while the AAC can accommodate over 20,000 spectators. Apart from them, five other teams also moved their venues for home games against the Fever.

Which Teams Have Moved Venues for Home Games Against the Fever in WNBA 2025 Season?

Atlanta Dream

The Atlanta Dream moved their home opener for the forthcoming season against the Fever. The game is scheduled to be played on May 22. They will now host Caitlin Clark and Co. at the State Farm Arena instead of Gateway Center Arena at College Park. While their previous venue could accommodate 5,000 spectators, the home for the Atlanta Hawks can have over 17,000 spectators.

Washington Mystics

The Washington Mystics will host the Fever at the CFG Bank Arena on May 28 and September 7. Their new venue has a seating capacity of 14,000. This is the second straight season the Mystics have moved games with the Fever because of the potential high ticket sales.

Chicago Sky

The Chicago Sky will now host the Fever at the United Center, the home of the Chicago Bulls on June 7 and July 27. While Wintrust Arena can accommodate 10,000 spectators at once. The new venue has double the capacity, enabling around 20,900 fans to enjoy the game at once.

Las Vegas Aces

The Las Vegas Aces will host the Fever on June 22 at the T-Mobile Arena and not at Michelob Ultra Arena. In fact, the team will play four of their 22 home games in 2025 at the venue which has a seating capacity of over 20,300 people.

Dallas Wings

The Dallas Wings are set to clash against the Fever on June 27 at the American Airlines Center in a historic game. This will be the first time that the home of the Dallas Mavericks, with a seating capacity of 19,825, will host a WNBA game. On the flip note, their regular venue can accommodate only 6,000 spectators.

Connecticut Sun

The Connecticut Sun will host Caitlin Clark-starring Fever at the TD Garden, the home of the Boston Celtics in the NBA. While their original court can accommodate around 8,900 people, the TD Garden can have 19,156 spectators at once.
