Nixxes and Naughty Dog have released a surprise update for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on PC and PS5 on July 8, 2025, adding the ability to play through the story chronologically. There are also two new skins in the game that have been inspired by the Uncharted series.
Players can unlock these outfits for Joel and Tommy by playing through the game in the new Chronological mode and can be used in the title’s roguelike survival mode. The PC update is also addressing some localization issues and missing visual effects.
