The Thursday injury report is out for the Seattle Seahawks’ Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins. We’ll start with the bad news, which involves the continued absence of running back Kenneth Walker III from the practice field. His oblique injury caused him to miss last week’s win over the New England Patriots, and it looks like it’s another day for Zach Charbonnet to start.
Now for the good news! Other than Uchenna Nwosu, who’s still out with an MCL sprain suffered on an illegal block in preseason, the only other DNPs were all personal/rest days for safety K’Von Wallace, defensive tackle Jarran Reed, and nose tackle Jonathan Hankins. Boye Mafe, Brady Russell, Jerome Baker, and Leonard Williams were limited participants in Thursday’s practice after missing Wednesday. Mafe and Baker are the names to watch given they left the Patriots game with respective knee and hamstring injuries.
DK Metcalf didn’t practice on Wednesday? Don’t worry, because he’s a full participant on Thursday. Anthony Bradford did pop up on the injury report with a knee issue, but he’s listed as a full participant.
At the moment, only Walker and Nwosu are seemingly locks not to play. Pharaoh Brown and George Fant both getting limited practice in is encouraging for the possibility that they’ll be in action on Sunday.
Here’s the full report for Thursday. Just one more practice to go, by which point we’ll have game designations.
