The FIFA Women’s Champions Cup will crown its inaugural winner next month and the excitement is building. Four continental title winners will battle it out to lift the trophy in the first edition of this groundbreaking new tournament.

The initial six teams are now down to four as the final phase approaches. The semi-finals, final and third-place match will be held in London, giving local fans a great opportunity to see UEFA Women’s Champions League winners Arsenal challenge for the silverware.

Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament, including the amount on offer in the mouthwatering prize money pot.

Who is competing in the Women’s Champions Cup?

The Women’s Champions Cup features the six confederation champions from the previous full season. Those participating this year are Arsenal, Gotham FC, Corinthians, ASFAR, Auckland United FC and Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC.

The tournament consists of two initial rounds, which saw OFC Champions League winners Auckland United and AFC Champions League winners Wuhan Jiangda eliminated.

As a result, Arsenal (UWCL), Gotham FC (Concacaf), Corinthians (CONMEBOL) and ASFAR (CAF Champions League) progress to the semi-finals.

Women’s Champions Cup semi-final and final dates

The Women’s Champions Cup semi-finals will take place at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium on Wednesday, January 28th. Gotham FC will face Corinthians, while Arsenal are up against ASFAR.

The final and third-place deciding match will be held on Arsenal soil on February 1st. Here’s a full list of each match and its details:
