Tiffany Hayes has signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Valkyries, the team has announced. The deal is worth $200,000.
Hayes won the Sixth Woman of the Year award in 2024, after unretiring from the WNBA just to play with the Las Vegas Aces. It’s no secret that everyone [secretly]wanted to play with the Aces heading into the 2024 season, but Hayes fit right in, immediately gelling with the team on and off the court.

Hayes averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, shot 50.0 percent from the field, and 40.2 percent from three in her sterling 2024 season.
Prior to joining the Aces, Hayes spent 10 seasons with the Atlanta Dream and one year with the Connecticut Sun.
Hayes best on-court attributes are her prolific scoring and her off-ball movement. She’s phenomenal at 3×3 ball, which she’s currently displaying at Unrivaled in Miami, FL, and those skills aid her in five-on-five play. She doesn’t shy away on defense, and finds the craftiest routes on the floor to create easy buckets for herself and her teammates.
Hayes will now take those qualities to a Golden State team that is desperate for veteran stability in its first season as a WNBA franchise.
