Atlanta Dream center Tina Charles has surpassed Basketball Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings for third place on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list.
Charles achieved this milestone with a fourth-quarter layup that gave Atlanta a 67-65 lead over the Dallas Wings on Friday.
Among Charles’ numerous accolades are the 2012 WNBA MVP award, eight WNBA All-Star selections, and five All-WNBA First Team placements. She is also a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a member of the WNBA’s 25th Anniversary team.
